Woodland Moss Holiday Wreath with Repurposed Embroidery Hoop

Space is limited (only 15 spaces per each time session)
• Workshop fee is $85 and covers all supplies and materials
• 20% of workshop fee will be donated to Friends of Tryon Creek
• Open for all levels (minimum age is 12)
Embroidery hoops are a perfect base for wreath-making, besides it looks cool and it's a great way to repurpose! Create a one-of-a-kind and unique holiday wreath with living moss, preserved moss, branches, PNW Western Red Cedar, Sword Ferns, dried ferns, ribbons/strings, and a decorative cardinal for good luck. There will be another additional surprise fun elements to add to your wreath at additional cost. It's a perfect outdoor wreath for your front door or backyard since it is weather resistant to the cold!
You will also learn the beauty and importance of native plants for our habitat.
Supplies included in the workshop:
• Embroidery hoop
• Variety of moss (living and preserved)
• Fall/holiday decorations/branches/moss
• Ribbons, strings, etc.
• Additional surprise fun elements to add to your wreath at additional cost
• Print out tips and resources about gardening with native plants
Hot tea will be provided! Bring your own mug if you’d like! It’ll be merry and cozy!
Please sign up by the end of December 11th for me to gather supplies/materials. Space is limited to 15 people; 1 person per registration.
